Description: A young patient complaining of sensitivity to hot and cold with some pain which lingered for 4-5 seconds. They weren’t experiencing spontaneous pain and painkillers were not required. We opted for a simple filling if pulp was not exposed, in case of exposure; partial pulpotomy. Unfortunately, the pulp was very inflamed and haemostasis was unable to be achieved. Full pulpotomy was conducted and MTA was placed in the pulp chamber plus Glass Ionomer. Patient was re-referred back to their own dentist for a full crown cover protection.
